Large Fourthire Sensor
The LUMIX LX100 II has a 21.77 megapixel sensor without low-pass filter of the latest Lumix G Change-of-lens cameras with an effectively used resolution of 17 megapixels in 4: 3 format. The 1.6 times larger sensor surface and the increase in dissolving together with the latest processor generation ensure outstanding image quality and an excellent signal signal relationship. Through skillful use of the oversized sensor, the LX100 II is one of the few cameras on the market, in which the wide angle of 24mm (KB) can be retained in the aspect ratios 3: 2, 4: 3 and 16: 9.
Leica DC Vario-Summilux lens 1.7-2.8/ 24-75mm
The name "Leica" stands for the high quality and resolution of the remarkable lens. With a light intensity of 1.7-2.8, it ensures a high potential for exemption and more reserves in poor lighting conditions. The 24-75mm focal length allows flexible use of the lens from landscape shots to portraits. The new Lumix LX100 II is also equipped with the Power O.I.S (optical image stabilizer) and comprises 11 elements in 8 groups, including 2 ED lenses and 5 aspherical lenses with 8 aspherical surfaces. In this way, image errors, such as distortion or chromatic aberration, are largely avoided. In addition, thanks to the minimal focus line of 3cm, macro recordings can be absorbed in impressive quality in the wide-angle and 30cm in the telephoto lens.
Intuitive operation and fast focusing
While the proven viewfinder was retained with a resolution of 2.8 megapixels and an enlargement of 0.7x, the rear monitor has been further developed and improved. For example, the resolution of the monitor was increased to 1.2 megapixels and at the same time a touch -sensitive screen was integrated, which makes the application significantly more user -friendly. The integrated operating rings and switches, including aperture and focus ring as well as shutter speed or exposure correction wheel, are particularly advantageous for direct and intuitive operation. The Lumix LX100 II also has the fast DFD autofocus with a trigger speed of only 0.10s and a quick series image absorption of 11 B/s (AFS) /5.5 B/s (AFC) to capture the right moment. Additional feature: the Starlight Af. With the exact calculation of the contrast value of a smaller AF area, photographers can even focus and photograph a single star in the night sky
High -resolution 4K video and 4k photo for the magical moment
The advanced 4K Photo Technology benefits significantly from the 4K video function: fleeting moments and quickly moving objects are recorded with an incredible 30 images per second. The photo can then be extracted with the best timing from the resulting 4K image series and saved as an 8-megapixel photo. New added: the auto-marking function, with which a faster jumping is made possible for the appropriate image, and the sequence Shot, with which various images can be combined into a special stroboscope effect. Post focus and focus stacking are now part of the range of functions of the LX100 II.
Further equipment
• Extended creative options: L. Monochrome D. Mode and film grain effect using the newly added L. Monochrome D mode, dark shadows are shown even more contrasting and more differentiated and can be artistically staged with the film grain effect. This deliberately usable film grit is available for all monochrome settings in different intensity in order to give monochrome images a special look.
• Bluetooth 4.2*and Wi-Fi 2.4 GHz (IEEE802.11b/g/n): The LUMIX LX100 II is equipped with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi® to be more flexible when taking photos and easily enable an immediate image of image. As soon as the camera is connected to a smartphone or tablet with installed Panasonic image app for iOS / Android, users can record, search and replace remote access. The compatibility with Bluetooth 4.2 (BLE/Bluetooth Low Energy) enables a constant connection with a smartphone/tablet with minimal power consumption. In this way, the camera can be activated via a smartphone/tablet or the photos can be automatically provided with a GPS geotag.
• Charging via the power supply or USB The camera battery can be charged either by a power supply unit or USB connection in the camera.
